Classic black rayon dress from the 1940s. Sleeveless with a touch of smocking at the shoulders, a V neck and side metal zipper. Thread loops for a belt. Medium to large size, I'd say. Label says: none

Excellent vintage condition. There is some mild color fade overall. See photo for example. And the seam at the bottom of the V neck looks a bit worn.

Armpit to armpit across bust: 42" up to about 46"
Waist: 31" up to about 35"
Hips: 42" up to 44"
Shoulder to waist: 16.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 41"
